Annemarie is a Corporate Governance specialist. For 8 years, she was Group Company Secretary in a FTSE100 financial services group also listed in Hong Kong and India. She had accountability for the corporate governance of 400 entities across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. This included 28 universal banking subsidiaries and listed companies in Kenya, Botswana, Ghana, Pakistan and Nepal.
Annemarie has first hand experience of many different types of boards. She has been an executive director of a publicly listed company (in Thailand); member of the executive committee of a FTSE100 listed international financial services group; an independent director on the UK subsidiary board of one of the world's largest international banks & Chaired the UK Listing Authority Advisory Panel (LAAP), the body that provides advice to the Financial Conduct Authority on listing and governance issues. She is currently Chair of a mutual bank; a Remuneration Chair and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of a FTSE250 housing company.
Annemarie has an MSc in Executive Coaching (Ashridge Business School), is a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach and is an accredited mediator (Regents University London).
Annemarie draws upon her coaching experience to focus upon the key inter-personal relationships, organisational behaviour and team dynamics that are drivers of board effectiveness. In addition Annemarie provides advice regarding the systems and processes which underpin effective corporate governance,
